What can I do?

I'm 18 an I've been drinking for the past 3 or 4 years, although I am not drunk on a daily basis Whaen I do drink, I don't stop untill I pass out or I get to tierd to do anything else. from thursday to sunday I am usually platered. It started out when I used alchohol as a means to escape reality, then when I moved to England drinking was accepted and although my friends realised I drank heavily, no one knew the whole story. It's easy to cover up but now I'm frightened I may be falling into a place I can't get out of, but many of the people I know tell me I'm being to serious....am I? What can I do to find help for people My age?

how do i help???  My brother in law tried to commit suicide.
He is 42. he has a very bad substance use problem.
now he is in a rehabe but we understand he can sighn his self out and the hole family is very us set. they feel he needs a better place to be placed in becouse it is going to take alot of time to coure him and they are afraid he is going to do it again as soon as he gets out
