What happened?

Hi everybody. I think alot of you know that I have been on Subs for 3 months and doing awesome. I have had a horrible weekend. Saturday all of a sudden I felt like I was goint thru withdrawals. Felt like a truck ran over me, headache, extremely bad intestinal pain, queasy,..... Sunday I felt ok. Today...it hit me like a ton of bricks again. Felt horrible, could not get off couch, no energy, headache, diarhea (totally uncommon as I have been constipated for 3 months since on the Sub). I feel so much like I have been going thru withdrawal and I don't get it. I took my pill today as I have for the past month. What the heck is going on? Could there be such a thing as placebo pills (I know that sounds way far out) or pills that are outdated and don't work anymore?  I am so upset and frustrated, I do not know what to think?

Just another possibility to throw out there (unlikely but...) - you might want to wash your mouth out with a little water after the tablets are dissolved before eating or drinking anything. Just to eliminate the possibility of swallowing some of the naloxone... might not be coincidental that it felt like withdrawal...

I took subs too to get clean. It's either the stomach flu or cravings. If you are having cravings the same kind of response can occur. Call your sub doc in the morning and see if he/she can tell you what to do. Unless your in a trial study there are no placebos if you have a real script for sub and get it at a regular pharmacy or your docs office. It sounds like cravings to me, don;'t take more until you call the doc, then they may have you go up a biit and see if it helps or not. That happened to me a couple times in treatment.

Lukey...Honey, I think you may just be sick. Like r2h said just a virus. I hope you feel better soon!

My vote: you had an intestimal virus. Headache, diarrhea, tummy cramps, queasy, malaise. Yep, sounds like a virus.

No, I do not believe placebos have a place with the subs. I assume that would be a serious federal gov violation. Placebos are not legal unless you are in a clinical trial.

Thanks so much guys. No I did not start a taper yet.. matter of fact I felt so bad I took an extra 1/2 pill today. Ok. well nite nite. TTYL...........definately time to go to bed for all of us. good news is...........it is a short 4 day week! I will try to get some input tomorrow. Nite again.

I have to go to bed so i can get up for work but do want to post....i know how hard u have been trying and i am sorry this happened...i dont know about placebo pills...r u in the midst of a taper?  i thought u were and maybe the cut in dose is just hitting u now...someone who it taking it can help u or maybe pm hopsing or wait2long...or flmagi or allaboutmary...i am sure there are more..i will add u to my prayers tonight lukey

Could you have ate something bad? Not sure it would cause headache, but it is a thought. I sure hope you feel better and SOON!!!!!
