What is Norco?

Ok so --  I finally have to ask, what is Norco? I’ve been coming here since May this year. I have tried lots of different opiates off and on for lots of years. I have never heard of Norco. Is it a slang word? I looked online and it looks to me like it is vicodin w/asa.
Is it like Percocet vs. percodan?
What is it like?
I dont want to try it or anything, just curious.
Thanks

It is hydrocodone or vicodin. I believe norco is just the brand name. It comes in strengths of 10 mg and 7.5 mg and maybe 5 mg hydrocodone and also includes acetaminophen.

Norco is the same active ingredient as Vicodin and Lortab (hydrocodone), but the Tylenol (acetaminophen) content is lower at 325mg than the 500mg in Lortab and Vicodin.
