What is the importance of Detox

you need to be more specific about what drug exactly to get off of.

detox is sometimes referred to getting the drug out of your system and the withdrawl (withdrawal) that goes along with it.

no I just wanted to know what it means to detox, when it come to drugs, someone mentioned if she had done a detox, 4 yrs later she wouldn't be suffering, I am new to this withdrawal, 5 day, and I thought this was something else that we needed to do.

Detox here means to just not take the medication that gets you high or you are addicted to.  You are detoxing your body when you are allowing it to become natural and drug free.   Yes there are places you can go they help ease detox and help the person come off the drugs easy but then the person has to get off that medication later.

We add things here I think like the Thomas recipe that helps our body to rid it of the drugs and to help us feel better while we are getting further away from taking any meds.  Detox is very simple.  Being on day 5 for you means you are detoxing and are 5 days into it.
