What to do ???

Ok ya'll... Here's the deal  ... I've been on Suboxon for just 2 days...  But, I'm SOOO scared about them not working and the w/ds that I can't bring myself to flush my old pain meds.. ( perks and norcos)... I know  I should and have to..  I feel weak for not already doing it.. I  haven't taken anything But Sub for 2 days... Just killin me to flush them,,,,appreciate any advice..

You timing is perfect.  I have a bag of my meds (codeine) in a plastic bag sitting by the door.  My son, who is a nurse is coming by to take them to the hospital for disposal.  Believe me, you will feel much better when you get rid of them.  It isn't worth the risk.
In your case, I would suggest you just flush them down the toilet.  This is your one free pass to do something like that.  I'm certain the fish down river will enjoy the evening thanks to you.  Did I get a smile?  Please...go get rid of them.

YES...Actually you got a laugh out loud.!... OK "gulps" I'm GOING to do it... Altogether there's 121 pills so this is monumental for me... I'll let ya know how it goes....Tam

OK.... I'm having an anxiety attack,,,,, I couldn't flush them.. ( I feel like a failure).... I haven't and don't plan to take any.. Just CAN'T seem to let go of them yet...  it seems so foriegn to do that..   I'm going to keep tryn...  makes me feel really weak/bad for not being able to  let go... I do realize that I have to for my own well being and I pray that I'll do it sooner than later.... Tam

It is like the shooter that talk's to his works or needle.I used to do it.Throw it in a field one day and go crawling around looking for "her" the next day. Dump em and flush twice.Do it!

If you can't flush them, do you have a friend that can hold them for you?  You really need to get them out of your house.

You need to get them out the house. If you can't flush them let somebody else do it. If you do give in and  some pills  the sub is going to block you from even feeling the pill. So you might as well flush them.


Are the subs working? Or are you afraid they will stop working. Are you having withdrawals or cravings? If you feel like the sub is not working your dose may need to be adjusted. Call your Dr and let them know.

My wife flushed mine dude just do it i flushed 162 pills on wed. best thing ever trust me flush them.

Listen to everyone flush the pills I did I had over 40 80mg left and I tossed them in the bay. You have the courage I know you do soooo just give them to the tidy bowl man FLUSH FLUSH FLUSH.

OK.. I'm GOING to do it ....well... I've called my mom and she's more than happy to do it for me as she's seen what "they" have done to me over the past 10+ yrs now...  I know it's for the best and It's  not that I  crave them  it's more out of fear that I might need them that I haven't been able to flush them, ...  I think the subs are  working ... I just feel so different "better" but strange... It's all so scary.... I know I have it in me to do it  though... thank you all so much for your advice it truely does help....Tam

Good decision!  Honey, the sub will help you.  Take it easy, and don't worry so much.  Those pills will cause you nothing but heartache, I promise!
