Youre not as bad as some of us here but there will come a day when you WILL be if you dont get help. Therapy, detox at home (since youre not on a lot) and go to meetings...would be my suggestion.
I realize just what I would lose if I continued them. I am happy to say my fiance has been beside me through it all...I just want to stop..I hate being on them...
You shouldn't have a bad time physically - maybe a day or two that feels like a mild flu. Search on here for the Thomas Recipe (BUT DON'T TAKE THE VALIUM or BENZO).
You don't sound like you're really into actual dependency yet. However, you have clearly entered the realm of binging and abuse. Something's not quite right or you wouldn't be doing that. Stop by the library and get the books END YOUR ADDICTION NOW, by Charles Gant, and SEVEN WEEKS TO SOBRIETY, by Joan Larsen. Don't know if they'll have at the library, but try a book store or Amazon for STAYING CLEAN AND SOBER, by Miller & Miller or STAYING SOBER, by Gorski & Miller
It would be profoundly unwise for you continue to abuse pain killers. They will destroy your life and take everything you care about. Start going to some AA and/or NA meetings - if nothing else they will show you where the path of addiction leads. Not only is it neither a fun nor nice journey, it's one that most don't return from once they're truly on the twisted path.
Two or three weeks maybe....in the beg. of July I stopped for three weeks. I saw my dads Perc. bottle one day and just took some and it went downhill from there...I know I can do it...just want to know what to expect.
When was the last time you went an entire day without? Two, three, four days? A week?
I have been pretty much taking whatever was available...two days ago I found some Percocet and ate 22 of them in two days....I felt wicked sick last night and decided screw this....I have never taken that many in the entire time...but it has been only a couple months....everyone found out a couple weeks ago and with everyone yelling at me I have just been taking them to numb it all out
That depends on how much of what have you been taking and how frequently, for how long?
