What type of Dr should I speak to about Methadone wd's??

In my past, I find it hard to relate to most doctors who have no clue what Methadone wd's really are about. I want to break away from the 3mg I have been on for the last year, and am looking to get help with acquiring Clonidine for my blood pressure spike. I do not have a doctor of any type that I see. I dont want to go from random doctor to doctor explaining my situation to then be told that they can't help me, and I am out of the $$ for the visit that didnt help. Can anyone tell me a specific type of Dr I should see or if there is a better way to go about taking to a Dr who will understand?? Thanks

I had no luck with my doctor he said let my b/p spike will watch it if in a couple of weeks things arnt back to normal he would treat me for high b/p so I did it without clonidine from 3mg you should be fine just jumping ship tapering below that is just miserable it dont hold you over and your dope sick till you quit you will do fine just stick around the forum been a long time since you been here glad to see your making the jump we have  had a lot of successful jumpers it will be nice having you on the list yesterday was 600 days for me .....no regrets

Wow 600 days! Congrats!!!! That is certainly something to brag about! I want to be rid of this so bad, and now that I am out of school for the summer, I can! So I still have all of the amino acids in that protocol that I purchased last time, and will try & stick with whatever works! I also have The Thomas Recipe stuff, so I should be stocked!
