Whats best for headaches

Just wanted to let everyone know that jason and i are doing just fine. Day 4!!  He was a little achey (achy) this morning and i have a killer headache but after having gone this far there's no way we would ever turn back now. Tonight we went out to visit some friends that we havent seen in what seems like forever. Now we're just getting ready to watch inervention soon. As i'm sure many of u are...lol.

So i've had this headache all day since i woke up this morning. Any tips on what works best??

I swear by Advil (ibprofen).  It always helps me with headache's.   Hope you feel better. So glad you are both doing well. CONGRAT'S ON DAY 4 !   Keep up the good work.  Hugs   Mary

Excedrine Migraine seems to help the best and fastest. Hope it helps you. By the way, Intervention is a rerun tonight. I'm bummed!

is the headache due to muscle tension? if so try icy hot or bio freeze, most of my migraines come from back muscles. excederine migraine is also what i use. always nice to see old friends, especially the sober ones. best of luck and keep ya chin up...

i agree with the excedrine migraine.  it is a life saver for me.  less than an hour it will be gone.  girl i am so glad ya'll are doing so good.  glad to hear you wont turn back too.  ya'll are doin awesomw.

I also hear that the excedrine migraine works great. Just be cautious it has caffeine in it.

i have epilepsy which causes u to have very severe migraines and the best and quickest thing that works for me is goody powders or BC headache powder.....i swear by em...lol..i just thought of something u know iw as taking alot of oxycontin and i always had to take something for headaches.....u would think that after having 500mg of oc running threw ur blood u wouldnt have a migraine...weird

Hot rags or a heating pad work well for me if the otc pain relievers dont work....there is also this stuff called "Heads on" that rolls on and applies heat...it helps too

thanks, i picked up some excedrin for tension headaches. The pharmacist told me that it was the same as excedrin for migranes (migraines)......its not working...lol. I've taken 3 in the last 4 hours. ugh. i guess its all a part of it. o well. just watching Intervention (boy i thought i was messed up).

Hi honey....gosh, all my headache meds have been prescribed....I couldn't elaborate on the best OTC meds.....I would've thought excedrin too!  I'm really proud of you guys.  You're doing great!  can you take turns with massage?  heating pad on the neck and shoulders?  Hang in there sweetie...intervention-sweet...I'm tivo-ing it....or whatever...dvr-ing...comcast-yada yada.....peace sister...
