When does RLS end??and what helps???

Hello everyone i was over prescribed suboxone for the last 6 years and just recently tapperd off them.. i jumped off at 2mgs...i took 32 mg's for 4 years and the last 2 years i cut myself down...I am on day 24 off suboxone and my RLS is still really bad... i have no other symtoms (symptoms) which i would trade that symtom for most other ones... its driving me crazy i was just wondering is this normal or will it go away??? i am starting to think i am diagnosed it.... its causing anziety and not sure if i should go to ER or something.... PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I know exactly what your going through and beside the initial withdrawal period the RLS is without exception. It is probably the most annoying aspect of recovery. But hang in there! You are experiencing the same thing every long term opiate user goes through when they get clean. I have tried all the known DOC for this problem with minimal success. If you are on day 24, you should start getting some self resolution soon. Ask you Doc for Trazodone. It will not help much with RLS, but is a safe sleep inducer with minimal AM hangover, if any. Good Luck
