When does the ANXIETY / FEAR leave?

When does the ANXIETY / FEAR leave?

I'm on day 5 of no Tramadol, but am still taking (2) 7.5 vikes at night (which I plan on quitting today!)  So for the past 4 nights I've had terrible anxiety right when I lay down to go to sleep, like my heart is gonna explode and my mind is racing with thoughts. I'm on Melatonin to sleep at night as well as a sleepy time all natural tea. I don't want to start pumping more crap into my body to sleep, so for now this is gonna have to do. I've averaged about 4 hrs of sleep for the last 4 nights. When will this fear/anxiety go away at night??? It's killing me!!!!

Not sure how it's gonna be once I stop taking the vikes, but considering it was such a low amount for the past few yrs, maybe I won't W/D too bad. Or will I????

Go to your doctor and ask for neurontin it is a mood stabalizer and an antidepressant that is known to help with withdrawals...don't worry about putting stuff in your body as long as it is stuff that will help you quit putting drugs in your body.  Get OTC meds for the flu like theraflu, aleve, dayquil and immodium take hot baths drink water and go to an NA meeting for moral support.  Be careful as tramadol has some bad wd symptoms like seizures so taper slowly.  You can do it also buy a heated matress pad for you bed it works wonders at night.

Well, I would love to do that but nobody knows about this. Only my b-friend and I are going thru this together. We would get our trams from a pharmacy and vikes from a friend. So I don't want to bring up any medical issues with my insurance. I just bought some meditation natural tea to help me sleep, and I also have Melatonin too. I have been off Tramadol for a solid 5 days now, and tonight will be my first night off vikes. I plan on quitting that as well.

Since I wasn't taking too much of the vikes each night, maybe (2) 7.5 MG night and for almost 2 yrs, do you think I will have another bad W/D with this now?? Oh god, I hope not!

Neurontin is for depression your doctor dosn't have to know about the vicodin just tell him you are depressed and took this med some years ago and it helped...also get some OTC meds for flu it will really help.

Is Neurontin addictive? Don't want to put anything in my system that I will regret later. And I don't really feel I'm depressed, though. I feel fine during the day but it's def at night when the anxiety hits hard.

i personally don't think that you should take anymore prescribed pills.  and definately stop taking the vikes.  but go to the store and get yourself some valuriun root.  melatonin did nothing for me when i was quitting roxycottens....

just to share with you.  i quit roxi's and continued taking xanex at night for about a week and then i ran out and decided not to go fill my script.  because i wanted to be clean and sober from ALL prescription pills.  trading one for another felt like i was cheating and i started becoming addicted to being clean....which is a good addiction.

so every night i drank my sleepy time tea and took my valuriun root.  i really didn't sleep at all for about a week and then boom i was just so exhausted that one night i fell asleep and slept all night.  and ever since then it's like i remember how to sleep again.

it will come...i promise you may just have to wait a week or so and i know it stinks but ride it out.

there are still nights like last night that i toss and turn for an hour but i always end up sleeping eventually.

good luck, get rid of all of those prescription pills.
