When does the sneezing and nose running stop? Any suggestions plleeeaaassssee!

I know I am over the worst, but I am dying of boredom and want to go back to work.  Can anyone tell me what I can do to get the energy to get off the sofa for more than two minutes before collapsing.  The aching is very mild now, and I am forcing myself to eat, although very strange things like tinned sardines, dry bread, etc, but I just have no energy.  My nose will just not stop running and I sneeze three or four times every ten or so minutes, so they wouldn't have me back at my job for fear of infecting patients anyway.  Any cures for the nose problems in particular.  p.s. finally found the effort to clean the bath, rest, run the bath, rest, undress, rest, then get in bath.  You were all right, it was heavenly and I will be making the same effort again twice today, if not three times.

Everytime I quit from opiates, my nose ran, in fact, I would know I was due for a pill because that was the first thing that started. I had 3 years opiate free and my nose never stopped running, until I did opiates again. I also am allergic to everything, so that might be the reason for it and the sneezing. If you need to get back to work, just tell them your allergies are acting up and your not contagious. Getting back to work might help with your energy level. It will come back, just keep forcing yourself to do things and before you know it, your not forcing yourself anymore! Take care and keep us updated!

I actually had a pretty easy time with WD  (and I feel bad saying that on here).  The last day I used Vicodin was the 8th and today is the 25th.  I didn't really have a problem with sneezing and runny nose.  Yesterday though I started getting a tickle in my throat and then last night my nose started running and it is this morning too.  Do you guys think I'm really getting a cold or do you think more than two weeks later my nose is starting to run from WD?

The sneezing can certainly be aggravating but it lets you know that the toxins are leaving the body and you should not have to endure that for much longer (@ least not so severe)
The best thing for energy is just to try and get some light exercise, as mild as a short walk in the sun will help.  Also, what you eat will dictate how you feel...most people find it difficult to eat properly during detoxing so often it is beneficial to drink Boost or Ensure just to make sure your body is getting proper nutrients so it can heal.
The injectable form of B-12 was a life-saver when my fiance and I detoxed from methadone - it helped with our energy level significantly.  We ordered ours from Canada, it was very affordable (about $15 for 15 vials I think...that is over a years supply.  It arrived faily quick....

Best of luck to you...I know it is a difficult time but continue posting for support (and boredom..lol..) and stay strong, you are doing great.
Peace
