Where do I begin..

I am 20 years old and have been addicted to prescription pills for the last two years of my life (aphetamines, Opiates, Benzos, any upper, any downer) . Ive grown up in a good family, and love my parents very much. This is basically why I am here. My mom eventually found out about my unhealthy life style but we haven't had a talk about it yet. It has been mostly accusing and denial because basically I dont know what to do. How do I tell her? or Should I tell her? she is a very loving mom and may feel that it was her fault. I just am really in seek of help from anyone out there willing to give the support they have gained by already going through this..or anyonewho can relate? Encouraging Words? ANYTHING, please... I have alot of potential in life, and don't want to put any of my family/friends to go through a od leading to death. Please, if you have any advice with my situation it would be greatly appriciated..

Thank You and God Bless

First off, congrats on taking that step with tell your parents. It seems like we probably have gone through a very similar lifestyle the passed 3 years and will hopefully take the same path the next year of recovery. Thank you for the encouraging words, thats what i sought out for to get me ready for tomorrow. I will give an update tomorrow.

i just went through your ordeal yesterday i have been addicted to percs for 3 years and hid it prety well.  yesterday i finally came clean about everything to my family even thogh i was terrified to do so.  I was amazed at how understanding and supportive they were.  i think that if you tell her about your addiction she will help because most of all she loves you and wdoesnt want to lose you.  posting your problem here is step 1 and i am sure you can make it through talking to your mom.  please talk with her the more help u can get the better it will be. let us know how it goes. remember you can do this!
