Which w/d is worse: Vicodin or Klonopin?

For a few months now, I've been switching between addiction to Vicodin (about 10-12 8mg daily) to Suboxone (usually aout 2 mg daily). Anyone who has truly broken the link between both, which would you recommend getting off? I realize there is no free lunch, but is one less miserable than the other? I really need to know. I've heard conflicting answrs.

There are so many factors to the determine which is worse.  Length of time using sub, etc.  How you deal with wd.  I have personally detoxed off of oxy, percs, etc many times (20-30/day) and have recently detoxed off of sub for the first (and LAST time!) and for me, hands down the sub was much worse wd than any of the others combined and magnified by 100.  I was on sub for a long time and know that has a lot to do with it; however, I have read many posts here from people having he11ish withdrawal from short term use.  Then again, there are people who had only little problems quitting sub after short term.  I hope you make the decision soon..The bouncing back and forth is not good.  If you feel you need to go the sub route-the least amount you need, for the shortest length of time is best.  Throw away all your vics, burn the bridges to your dealer-especially if its your doctor--tell him.  Take a small amount of sub and taper off very quickly.  The only positive stories Ive heard about sub is from people who took it for short periods of time.. it seems that's the way to go.  I wish you all the luck in the world.  Take care!

Agreed.  Kicking vicodin is a walk in the park compared to Sub.  Much of this is a function of half-life and how quickly each medication metabolizes (which determines the rate at which it leaves your body).  But yeah, if you are in a position to choose which one to kick, then hydrocodone is the way to go.
