Why do my pupils look like quarters? still...

I've been c/t for three days now and my pupils are still HUGE! Last night they went down and I woke up and can hardly see the color in my eyes.  Why does this happen? And how long does it last?

When you take opiates, it makes your pupils smaller. Depending on how long you've been taking, you probably have become accustomed to them being small. When you go off the pills, your pupils take a little while to adjust, but then they go back to normal, which is substantially larger than what you're probably used too, which is why they look so strange to you. Don't worry...your body is just trying to get back to the way it should be. :)

god, glad i joined this site, my pupils have been huge for ages, i have blue eyes, but the black overtakes.  .  people notice and it freaks me. best wishes

I have heard that when someone is experiencing anxiety or fear their pupils dialate. I think it has to do with the fight or flight instinct. It's a long explanation that I forget most of, but that does happen. When I am going thru my anxiety/panic attack mode or am detoxing my pupils dialate.
