Wish me luck

I am going to be in w/d by Thursday.  If I can't find a Suboxone DOc by then, I am going CT again.  I am still going to find a Suboxone doc after that.  I have talked to several people who are on SUB and it really takes away the cravings. I am going to start calling DOCS tomorrrow morning.  I will keep you all posted and thanks again for the support.

Wow, 21,000 dollars is nuts for detox and less than a month of treatment. I work for a wonderful treatment center in South Florida where it costs less for 90 days of treatment. I cannot believe how these people can charge so much for so little.

They say that 100 each  is just the tip of the iceberg.  It is amazing how many opiate addicts there are out there.  The problem is that most docs don't take insurance and the treatment is very expensive.  SO, the so called street junkie doesn't stand a chance for getting treated with SUB.  It is a shame, but it is the truth.  These docs would rather treat a white collar, financially stable person because of the money.
Believe it or not, it is all about money to most of these Docs. Most, not all.

We send clients to an agency here in Macomb County for a free assessment. If they truely have a problem and want help it is paid for by the Mental Health of the State of Michigan. The problem is a waiting list, you might have to wait 4-6 weeks.
Lots of people don't have insurance, there is help out there....

Since they changed the patient law of 30 patients to 100 you should be able to find a Dr. it is much easier with less pain and help with those strong cravings...

If you have no insurance like millions of Americans don't there is a line to stand in.
That is the route I took and popped handfuls of pills including the morning I checked in to a detox.....
The cost of my detox and 21 day inpatient drug rehab was $17,000..................

How much does the SUB treatment run a person without insurance by the way?
I'm seriously considering since my dr told me about "another way to go" and mentioned something new so I can only assume he was talking about that.
