Hi & welcome........this forum and everyone on here have helped me so much during my quitting "cold turkey" from Vics. I'm sure they don't realize that if not for this forum I would have gone crazy not knowing if what I was going through was normal. I too have had blurred vision.......like a fuzziness in my head. Can't really explain it.......feels like my eyes are crossed & I can't look anyone in the face for fear that they will think I'm "high"....which is pretty funny considering that for the first time in years I'm totally sober (22 days clean today!) Which I have been trying to find out if it's normal & how long it will last (still don't really have an answer on that one). But, everything else you are going through is normal and part of the wd process......unfortunetly (from what I"ve read) the longer you've been on vics the longer it takes your body to return to normal. The people on here are great & will help alot with their advise. Good luck to you...........and THANK YOU to all that have helped me.........:)

newlegs, i think that our kidneys are working extra getting rid of all the toxins, the same with the sweating, this is the reason you must drink a lot...
as for the blur vision, yeah... it comes with the detoxings and wd's,..this too shall pass :)

Thanks to everyone that has replied so far, your help has settled my mind a lot. The no sleep and the peeing is what worried me the most. Now that I can actually sit in the bath tub a long soak is in my immediate future.
Oh I almost forgot one other thing I have experienced, blured vision (close up) will that get better to?

yeah, totally normal. Wd's are very similar with going through a bad flu, in fact. Drink a lot of fluids ( gatorades, apple, orange juices, tonic water because of the quinine ) and take long hot baths ( they really help ), you can also try some OTC remedy for RLS (hylands restful legs) and also a magnesium+calcium suplemment will help with those "pins and needles" you are already feeling. Eat as healthy as you ( once you start feeling better, that is)
i would think you are at the peak of wds so you'll start feeling better soon, 1/2 days more, don't worry :)
I think that RLS are one of the last physical symptons to go away...it takes some days more but the emotional side would stay a little bit longer...some anxiety, lack of energy ( vitamins and a good B's complex will help here ) and of course, the emotional mess you already feel will get better too...the sleep will take some days too...
if you can exercise or go for some walks... the sooner the better to boost your endorphines.

Thanks for the info Kleen, that helps more than you know. As far as future pain plans, I hope to God I never have that much pain again and if I do I hope an Ibuo. does the trick. If the Ibuo. does not take the edge off future pain, I have no idea what I am gonna do, but I hope Oxy is not involved.

Hi~ It's normal and lasts about a week . You should just be hitting the peak of it now.
You can do some things to help it along:
Pepto for the GI problems~
A good multi vitamin daily~
Calcium~
Magnesium~
Potassium~
Juices like OJ and apple~
Tonic water ~
Hot baths~
Immodium if needed~
The vitamins will help the legs along with the hot baths and the tonic water which has quinine in it.
You will begin to feel better but may have trouble sleeping for a while and might feel a little depressed. If it is prolonged,call the doctor.

What you are going through is absolutely normal for withdrawal from Oxycodone. It usually lasts (physical) for about 5 days. You can take vitamin supplements and immodium for the tummy discomfort. Be certain to keep yourself hydrated and try and keep some food down. Take hot baths for the muscle aches and most of all, hang in there.
Do you have plans for what you will do for pain in the future?
