Hi..Try getting the Epsom salt and take some long relaxing baths..The you might want to wrap a warm towel around you legs..Try it dry or wet. Also get under a heating Blanket for this and the aches. Meanwhile make sure You are taking lots of Magnesium, Potassium, Ds and Calcium at night..This helps relax the muscles too. Please try to stay away from the Klons. I c/t off of that with 2 other meds back in 2012 and it was NO fun either. Also the Trams are very Addicting and you would not want a w/d from them either. They can be as bad as what I came off of the Methadone because they are so synthetic and do not like to let go. Plus they have a AD med added to them so this would be like being on 2 meds.
Right now just Drink LOTS of Water and try adding some Electrolyte powder to it..Get some Protein powder and make some fruit shakes like berries. Make sure you are eating very Healthy..This is a good time to stay away from sugars, simple carbs, and flour. Drugs or any mind altering substance do alot of unbalancing in our Brain Chems and Hormones, so this will take time to Balance back..Just have Patience for this will pass..Meanwhile make sure you try to replenish your body/brain back with some good food and vit/min. Wishing you the best..Just know that the detox is the easy part (yes it su**ks) but working on changing and staying clean is where the work begins.

Try Valerian.  It is an herb, all natural and helps with sleep.  (It comes in pill form and you can get it at Whole Foods).  I try and research natural remedies before going the prescription drug route.  Big Pharmaceutical companies and the doctors who prescribe this ****  just get richer, and we, the users, continue to be sick.

Thanks so much for the response I did go back on the medicine but once again I haven't taken anything in 28 hours now the restless leg is the only thing I cannot handle I can deal w everything else but once it sets in its like my down fall... I tried a muscle relaxer called zanaflex but it did not work is there something I can take to stop the restless legs or does anyone know how long before it stops

With amount you have been taking and the length of time cold turkey is never a good ideal.  You need to speak with your doctor to help with slowing reducing the amounts which will help tremendously with withdrawals and I don't know if your in pain management but you may want to check into it maybe they can use injections they help some folks but not all.  Tramadol is non narcotic however anything can become additive.  Try finding a support group in your area, an exercise program, physical therapy, heat or ice can help with the pain and make it more manageable.  Good Luck.

You have come to the right place as many of us have been through much the same thing. I have multiple serious problems with my back and spent alot of time on oxycodone. It does not work for me for several reasons. First is, that I have an addict personality. But very importantly too, is the fact that opiates are not effective for long term relief from pain.
In addition to tolerance, they actually cause the brain to be much more sensitive to pain. It is hard to believe, but many others on this site will verify this.
I have done much research on back physiology and pain, effective non opiate pain management strategies that include special exercises, Tens, jacuzzi, aqua therapy, and NSAIDS.
You can be free of the demon pills if you want to bad enough. I can affirm that my life is much better without pain pills. Yeah, I still have a bad back and chronic pain, but it is manageable. I love living free from pills. You will too. Keep coming back, lots of kind and caring people her for you!
