XANAX WITHDRAWAL

Hey all it's me still hangin in there.I have been off the xanax for a little over a month and thought i was doing pretty good but the last couple of days my moods have been all over the place anxiety especially first thing in the morning not sleeping very well yet have been taking valerian to help with sleep but my question is how long does this last??????????

It took me several months to get over the anxiety from xanax withdrawal.  I used zoloft of course to help, because I was having lots of personal problems then.  Your symptoms were like mine then, it is normal.  I don't know what you are willing to do = like get on an anti depressant..that did help me..good luck to you and hang in there ok??  one month is great!

Thanks Michele,glad to know I'm not alone,i really don't want to go on anything else after the he** I went through to get off the xanax,didn't even know i was addicted or going through withdrawal untill I found this forum when I told my doctor about the withdrawal she told me that at that low of a dose 0.5mil 1 time at night for 6 months i should not have withdrawal and i told her she needed to read up on benzodiazepines before she prescribes any more well needless to say she is not my doctor any longer,any way just a great big thank you for listening,
