If you only take 2 per day you can just stop. You'll get over the gloomy feeling much faster and then you can take St. John's or SamE. Just be a little patient.

For the restless legs, take some minerals containing magnesium and potassium and try soaking in a hot bath with a cup of Epsom salt added. You should be fine.  Stay in touch-

It's an excess amount of serotonin, it can be fatal. Google serotonin syndrome, it will better explain exactly what it is and what causes it. I know tramadol has an antidepressant in it, so adding another antidepressant could possibly lead to your body producing too much of it. Please talk to your dr and get his/her advice before taking anything, keep us posted!!

Please stay away from antidepressants and/or St. John's wort while you have tramadol in your system, it can cause serotonin syndrome, very dangerous. You might consult your dr, maybe there's other options??

2 a day thats all. Try to take one now, i can go down a quarter at a time. I will try it every 3 days.  Maybe that will work. Would a antidepressant or st johns wort help the doom. I wake up early and just get the gloom in the pit of my stomach and up. I know my addiction very mental. I have been on trams x2 years. Clean for 5 years snd was a vicodin addict for 20 years on and off.took tramodiol and was told not addicting safe etc. now so mad doctor never told me the whole story.

yes every thing Frogger says is true! Trams are the worst to come off of! They are now considered a narcotic. I think the worst part is they have an anti depressent in them so that is why you are feeling doom and depression. You might want to see your dr. about a tapering because I think you may be going down too fast. How many are/were you taking a day?

Hi!! Your right to wean off the trams. I was highly addicted to them and had to go cold turkey, but because of the seizure risk it's not recommended. The physical withdrawals are bad, you can look up the Thomas recipe, some say it helps, mine finally started to ease up around day 30. It's the mental withdrawals that are so hard to get through. Like you said, that feeling of doom and depression, that unfortunately will last awhile. I've heard some say 3 months others a year or more. Your brain will need some time to rewire itself. It's not easy, but you can do this. Good Luck to you!!
