anything that has the suffix "stomy" has to do with the intestine or colon if i remember right and that is why it would be "knee deep in poop".! anyway, Todd, so glad you got through the day with His praise on your lips! part of the tiredness and sluggishness could just be from what your body went through in wd's. after all, no sleep for a few days would do that to anyone. hagn and sleep well, Bro.
Luv ya, Lucy

Foward -> -> -> -> -> -> -> -> -> -> Equals -> -> -> LIFE in ABUNDABCE!
but u made it....my day at work was totally unbelievable and I am not even going there as it would totally gross most people out...tomorrow is another day
Congrats on a successful day at work. Each passing day you'll feel better. I remember how much energy i had from the vics...but after 2 1/2 yrs...i didn't have that energy anymore..never got the lift like I did in the beginning...
WE CAN DO THIS..ONE DAY AT A TIME...KEEP MOVING FORWARD!!!
I have indeed:
I have said: alldone to Alcohol, Phenobarbitol, Ambein, Valium, and now....these non-benzo sedative opitae Hydro's are quite a bit different..but I here you brother!
I could not have made it without fighting the good fight, side by side with Christ!
PS: I drive a 4x4 TRUCK....I am a guy, what else would I drive - LOL
God Bless, and Thanks a million bro!
Todd
Todd you'll be alright. In a couple of days you'll be working @ normal man speed. Not all wacked up on whatever. It's tuff to realize, but we don't need that stuff to get us going. Trust me I think we all thought the same way in the beginning. But needless to say you do get your drive and gumpshun back. Hang in there Todd. Your doing this. Doesn't that feel good to say. Try it......
hey there girl,
I think I lost 1/2 of my brain cells in the heat, not to metion almost feeling like I was going to pass out from a heat stroke...
Gotta get the nutrition back in, get this brain back to normal...
So to good to finallly talk to you all.
Lots of Love,
Todd
persneck: I'm glad it's normal to feel this way back to work without them...keeps the spirit up to keep fighting for the days to come!
alldone: WHAT A PERFECT comparason!!! - Look foward foward, right and left....and see all the world, and can get to the point of destiation! It's kind of funny how if you look thru the front winshield, everything gets bigger, then you look in the mirror, it all gets smaller, until you can't see it anymore! - Awesome!
Thanks!!!
Todd
Sounds like you will not have to worry about sleeping tonight!! LOL Sounds like a plus to me..
Keep it up!
alldonepercs----VERY WELL SAID!!!
todd
My buddy made it through!!! WEW!! i know what you mean, and that is what made me continue to take the hydo's, I could do 20 haircuts a day....lol
Now they may have been uneven..!! LOL......
It will take time, just remember one day at a time...It will not come back all at once..
just stay positive, and give your brain the time it needs to heal, and start waking up and working on it owns chemicals..
hugs

Todd I'm glad that you got thru it. Keep your chin up and you can get through anything, Think of it like this. When you get into your car truck whatever you drive. Look at the rear view mirror and compare that to the windshield. YOu can see alot more outta the windshield right. Looking forward. Now hypothetically drive your truck looking in the rearview and see how far you make it. Not far at all. Same thing happens when you look back at life while an addict and also act that way. YOU CRASH !!! Todd don't look back. Your doing great!
I know exactly what you mean about the energy. When I took the vics I sometimes felt like I could do anything and had an abundance of energy. Unfortunately, that wasn't real energy - just chemicals convincing our brains that we felt really, really happy. Once our brains/bodies got used to some of the chemical, we needed more and felt like we couldn't do anything without them - and therein started the viscious cycle of addiction.
I found the first few days back to work difficult energy-wise but it will get better - promise!
Remember too that focusing on the lack of energy is your brains way of trying to convince you that you need those chemicals again - YOU DON"T!
Glad you made it through the first day. They will keep getting better. Keep fighting!
