no. stay on the Sub.  it is a very good tool for pain...
I don't know your situation, but when i was in severe pain for my back, my pain mngmt specialist (who was also my Sub doc) put me on Tegratol, a nerve drug.  it's an "old school drug" but i'll tell ya what - it worked wonders - better than anything else I had tried (Cymalta, Neurontin, narcotics, etc.) and it's not a narcotic...

Again, keep in mind the Sub is working on your pain tho better than the narcotics ever did.  i don't know much about methadone, but i've never heard of it being used for pain...

just do your best to hang in there. and find a new pain specialist if your pain really is becoming unmanageable. you do not want to trade one addictive drug for another if you can help it....

good luck, my friend...

No it does not work that way .I would speak to your doctor about adjusting your sub for pain management.

No, it doesn't work like that. Sub is a pain reliever as well. So why do you need to go to methadone?
