about Tramadol

I wanted to know if anyone tried getting off tramadols using tylenol 3? i have some from a toothache and was just wondering.

thanks you guys, today i offically am taking my last tramadol.. tomorrow will start a new day..i been taking these for a yr and a half now and i want off them, like everyone else has said, they make you want more and more cuz your body gets use to them...are there any supplements i should take?

How long did you take Tram?  For pain?

I agree with Tramahater ( of course ). Stop now and flush or safely dispose of those 15
pills. Don't take those again. If you have a pain issue,ask for something else,okay?

Get yourself in good shape before school starts. Don't take pills. It mixes poorly with being a nurse.

Hi!  If you have tapered down to only 2 pills per day then I think you could go ahead and stop.  Going on down to one pill/day for few days isn't really going to make a lot of difference.  You will need the time between now and the 18th to get some energy back.  The best thing you can do is stop now, drink lots of fluids, don't forget to eat, take hot baths, exercise when you can and get some support!  Whatever you do, DO NOT take the Tylenol 3.  In my opinion, you would be at pretty high risk of starting something else, and it will not help you very much, if any!  Plus, you will only mask the withdrawals and have to go through them when you stop the T3.  Better to just do it all at once, don't you think?  

You can do this!  Just wash all your comfy clothes and hang on!!! : )

i have taken 4-5 trams a day. I have been taking 2 for a week now. I have to go back to nursing school jan 18th. I have 15 pills left. Should i just stop completely now or should i go a couple days at 1 and then a couple days as 1/2? all i have is all next week to detox, is this enough time? please help me every way you can, thanks

How much do you take per day?  It's a bit better if you taper down a bit before jumping off. You will feel cruddy for a few weeks but the Tylenol#3 won't help you. It's just another opiate.

Definitely not.  It would be just trading one addiction for another.  Stay away from all narcotics and/or controlled substances - just overall a bad idea.  There are a bunch of other ways to get off that don't include taking prescription drugs - let us know what you need and I'm sure someone can help you.
