So many of us have lost so much through our addictions and trying to stop can be so frightening and lonely. But you are not alone. There are a lot of people here who have been where you are and we can help you through this. You don't need to go to rehab. You can cut down on your pills and then stop. It seems awful at first but then you will start to feel better and better. The withdrawal from twenty pills a day is doable and in a fairly short time your thinking will clear up and the fear will start to subside and you will begin to get your life back. Tell us more about where you are at in this process and people will give you specific information about how to get through it and all kinds of support to help you make it. You were brave enough to make this first step and you came to the right place. Talk to us.

Kolo is right, you're not alone, many of us have gone down that same dark road. Are you still taking them or have you stopped? If you are still taking them do you have a plan as to how you want to quit, cold turkey or tapering? If you have stopped already what day are you on? Keep posting,we're all here to help you through this...Kim
