I'm not sure exactly what you are asking but here goes... Its not really a question of how long it takes to get the drug completely out of your body. That's probably 2-3 days. The real question is... How long does it take for my brain to recover from the chemical changes the drug caused? We could have a discussion about neurochemistry but here's the short answer: Its based on how long and how much. Two years is long enough to develop a pretty serious addiction, but the amount/dose is also important. So... 5 - 10 days to get over the initial withdrawal. Then a few to several weeks of general lethergy (as in NO energy). After 2 -3 months you'll feel pretty normal but you'll most likely have ups and downs. Reading the info on Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome (PAWS) will explain what that's about. PAWS normally lasts 6 - 12 months but can last up to 2 years. Interested in quitting??? You'll find experienced caring people here who can help guide you. Just ask.
Totally? I don't know. That question might have to be answered by a doctor. Do you have one who you could ask? A pharmacist might could answer as well, but I'm not sure anyone knows the answer for sure.
