i have been taking 2x100mg  mst continous daily and 50mg oramorph daily for the last 6 months and im desperate to stop taking them....any tips?

they are morpheine tablets and liquid morphine....i hate being on them now

have you talked to your doctor? are you on them for pain contrpll? if so what are you planning to do afterwards?

the doctor threatening to just stop giving me them , he should never have prescribed me such a high dose,it was his mistake and now he is making life very difficult.

yes but should not have been prescribed such a high dose,it took 5 months until the mistake was noticed by which time ive become totally addicted

can you start tappering down and if so do it !!! and hopefully you can get down to low enogh dose that if your fn doc does cut you off the w/d will be a ***** but not as bad if you were on a higher dose or maybe try to get on suboxone for the w/d but either way if you truley truley want to stop you just stop !!!! and believe me thats 100000000000000000000000 eiser said than done but the good news is that when you stop you wnt have to deal with it again the w/d that is and coming on here has helped me and alot pepole and it will help you as well hang in there give yourself a chance

these are crazy strong meds. You evidently have some pretty serious pain, do you have a plan on how to control your pain once youre off the meds?
