almost there....

Hi All,

Remember me?  Anyway, today is day 18 of my taper plan coming off of ALL opiates that i have been abusing on and off for 15 years.  I am down to 1 perc a day and seeing the light.  I cannot wait to be DONE and im almost there.   The mental cravings are really not that bad i would say i only get them a little bit every few days and physically i am tired and i do not sleep at all, when i was using i could sleep until 10am now i am up the latest 7:00am, i hope i can get some sleep.  I can wait to feel free, im not rushing it anymore than i have because if i let the WD get to bad im afraid of what i might do.  So, now the next problem, i hurt, im in pain, YES it is legit pain im only 3 months post op from major surgery and a chronic pain suffer, does anyone have any ideas as to what helps for bone/joint pain?  I take excederine and Aleve, is there a stronger RX that's not addicting? OR do i stick to just OTC?  Any and all ideas im open.......Dane

I do not know you, but Congrats , you have come a long way. There is a drug called Mobic, that is for pain, you could ask your DR.
