I have made up my mind that Im done with hydrocodone and I have a drug test comming up I would like to know what I have to do and how long does it take to get it out of my system (urine)

I think its about 2 weeks to be safe. But do not know for sure. someone who knows more will come along and let you know..

what kind of drug test do you have?  i had one about 3 weeks ago it was a random thing at work and i passed and i had been on pain meds for almost 2 years but i had a script for all of mine.  i dont know your situation thoe.

2-4 days for hydros depends on how long you've been using and how many you've been taking. You can google it. I was through with hydros everythime I had a drug test..Hope your serious. Good luck, Corey

If you are ready to quit, there is alot of support here...If you have a script for the hydrocodone, you will not need to worry...there are lots of helpful articles in the health pages to the right under DISCUSSION....if u r taking alot u made need to prepare for quitting...keep posting

That is not a huge amount...very doable to quit...4 days minimum as psoted above...I would give it a week to be sure if u can and slam the water until then////if they test ur hair...it stays pretty much in there til u cut te hair off...where I work they cut a piece of your hair and test it

that wont be to hard to come off of i dont think. everyone is differnt however. why exactly do you take them? for the high or for pain?  like i said i dont know how your drug test will do i passed mine but i dont know if they were testing for pacifics. just give me a holler if you need anything else or to just talk.

so your asking these questions just to past a drug test not to get clean? Im sorry but i would not even answer that we are all here because we want support to quit you just want to get the job and continue your drug use? so your not ready to quit? w/d suck my friend I pray that God convicts your heart to stop for you they will eventually kill you! its diffrent if u need them for pain I started taking them for pain but they get a hold of you. when you are seriously ready to quit I would love to help in anyway but wont help just so you can beat the system ha im a addict i used i had to face the reprcussion of my use so should we all but I honestly wish you the best truly you are in my prayers

I kinda get your point, but the very first thing he said was that he made up his mind that he was done with hydros..so where did you come up with the fact that he isnt trying to quit? People on this site just jump on people when they have a question about passing a drug test..i understand if someone makes no effort to say they want to quit..but the very first thing that this poor guy said was that he "made up his mind he is done with hydrocodone" so lets give him a break maybe?
