anxiety and depression may be easily treatable

after suffering intermittantly with depresssion and anxiety over 15 years i recently found a book called

the mood cure , by julia roberts.

basicaly, amino acids form the neurotransmitters that allow us to feel good.

long term drug use, stress and several other things can leave us defficent in our aminos.

low aminos = depression and anxiety which leads to relapse.

if you suffer from depression or anxiety please consider reading the book and following its sujjestions.

it worked very well for me.

Thanks for passing on the info. A lot of people can send depression on it's way like that. Unfortunately, I have chemical depression and was dx's at 19. That way many years ago, and I do mean many lol. For me that won't work but it's great that you posted on the subject. So many people could be helpedI

It's good of you to bring the knowledge to the board to share with others. You have a kind heart.

Take Care.....LS

it seems to me that this may help those who ARE suffering from chemical depression...not situational.   i have always believed in the power to heal thyself...without the aids of drug therapy...doctors have become lazy in their approach to helping to heal someone...just take a pill for this and that.   there is an M.D. here in town who uses probably 80% natural vitamins and minerals to treat her patients...she is awesome.   i take quite a few for different things...it is worth checking into...what could it hurt?

Hi,

You're right. Situational or environmental depression can be controlled. The depression I have would still be here if I won the lotto (I can shop w/ depression. lol) I also believe that people who are suffering from chemical depression become masters of deception. They know when to laugh and how to get others to laugh, They just can't really feel it inside. On my antidepressant, which I've been on for years and years, I do ok.

Taking my toys and going home now. lmao

yo...remember?  i know all about chemical depression....i grew up with a mother who had chemical depression...hers was bad...anxiety and severe panic attacks...phobias...you name it.   seems like everyone that i know on her side of the family has "chemical" depression...three of my four sons have chemical depression...so yes...i know all about it...

connie...what i am saying is that there is an imbalance somewhere in the brain that causes this reaction...the depression.   so if there is a chemical imbalance...why could it not be "fixed"?   i know that you have been on medication for many many years for your depression...and i am glad that you found the answer for you.   but what about the ppl who wish to treat there "chemical" depression the natural way...?

i have heard alot about amino acids and its benefits and wish i was more knowledgeable of the pros and cons...think i will do some research on this.
don't shut out new information...take it for what it is...new information...we should always just keep and open mind...ya never know...hehe

i've been meaning to ask..how long will you wear this last patch?  sorry if you have already posted that many times...i'm a blonde...what can i say?????

huggs,
kim
