anyone.....

I dont want to nag, Im just looking for some answers about the difference between sniffing a 15mg morphine pill and say a 40 or 80mg oc. Im trying to prove a point to my husband and a friend of ours who swears they are the same thing. All I know about morphine is thats what they gave me when I was pregnant and my appendix ruptured(fun huh?) anyway, if someone could answer this for me it would be greatly appreciated.....thanks

I don't know how one relates to the other as far as strength.. I do know that sniffing pills causes a spike in blood plasma levels. Faster delivery. However taking them orally is better as far as effectiveness and how long they last.

Thanks Fladdict. I didnt know about the strength either. Oxy was my DOC so that was the only thing that I could compare it to. I was trying to figure out if it was stronger or weaker. I've been trying to find some info online but I keep coming up with morphine sulfate. I guess an opiate is an opiate right? I found once site that listed them as synthetics but thats all just mumbo jumbo to me. Thats why I asked here. thanks again. where's dutchess when you need her?

an oxy 40 "oc" is designed to give 12 Hour relief at 40 mg of oxycodone so they are actually like 120mg of oxycodone if you crush them and snort. So I would have to say that they are way way more powerfull than a 15 mg of morphine. The only difference could be that if the morphine is already in powder form in a capsul it might arrive into your system faster making the user think it would even be close.
