This is not the pregnancy forum. Go to the top of the page look for the community link. Under that link you will see pregnancy links. Go to one of those forums and post your questions. I hope you get the answers you need. One last thing. It sounds like you both should call a doctor. It will help with your  concerns and they will help you with what ever may be going on.

HI and welcom to the forum ......both drugs will help you if your addiction is completey out of control if your there ether one will work some people prefer one over the other for various reasons usually the side effects  my experience is with methadone and dont recamend it after being on it 6 1/2 yrs the detox was brutal + you stay sick for months after sub is a bit better on that account but not by much both are desined to get you out of active addiction to rebuild your life threw aftercare so when the time comes you can stand on your own 2 feet and walk away drug free I wouldent rick the addictive nature of ether one unless your habit is completely out of control the withdrawals from ether is usually a lot ruffer then most pill habits
if your looking for a buzz you wont find one on ether one if properly dosed there not ment to get high on there ment for recovery and be sure to be involved in a program othwise all your doing is switching addictions personally I think both are over perscribed use caution b/4 getting into ether one good luck and God bless.......Gnarly

Hi there and welcome. Both drugs have their uses;their benefits&disadvantages. Most people say not to replace 1 drug with another. Both methadone and sub are addicitve. Sub will get you through most of the withdrawl and get you through the cravings. If you can be managed properly by a doctor licensed to prescribe sub, then you may do well on it. But you need to be very very careful that you don't fall into the same traps. Were you addicted to methadone or using it for detoxing off heroin/opiates? How long were you using the methadone? You've come to the right place. Many here have a  lot of experience with both drugs. Many here will tell you horror stories of both, some will tell you it saved their life. The most important question is Do you want to quit? When you have answered that question, you can start making a more concrete game plan for yourself.Good luck to you and keep us posted~A
