Coming to after suboxone was weird. I know that it is like waking up in a new body and you don't know what to do with yourself but it does pass and you're almost there. Stay the course. I'm rooting for you. I had 5 years clean after that and am back on day 3. 30 days is amazing and it will start getting better quickly. It really will. I know some people say it's so bad for so long but after a month I was much better fairly soon after. I really think you are right around the corner from many good days. After right around that point I got so busy and it seems like time just flew by and I started doing markedly better. Hang on. You've almost got it!!!

Glad to hear you got moved.....and I understand triggers...

Since you are in a new living environment now....it's a golden opportunity to get other NEW habits in place too.  I read that you signed up to do a meeting online because you didn't have time to go to one.  How about now?  It's REALLY important to get some "live" support.....it will help with the triggers, give you some new people to talk to that totally understand you and get you out of your head.  What say you?

Amanda....I detoxed off suboxone many years back when I first got clean. The mental part...it was hard and I had my bad days but by 6 months they were very very few and far between. Here's hoping this relapse doesn't put me back there for that long!

you have been under SOOO much stress during your ENTIRE detox.

you did not get the luxury of deciding to quit on your own, preparing yourself emotionally or physically, etc.

then you had the HUGE losses like your job, home, fear of losing freedom, etc

stress is HORRIBLE on the body and mind.  add to that detox.

you may be a month off of them, but your body and mind have had zero time to heal and relax.
you really should seek the help of an addiction counselor who can help you weed through what is detox and what is life stresses.

i think you are doing AMAZING with all you have been through.
you have even taken time out to help others.

Hi there, im not familiar with any pill at all sorry, but i believe this is more common than we think : )
This question gets asked quite often and the response is usually, yes.
I dont know why it happens, im assuming the brain is still healing and we have our good and bad days.
Im almost 10 mths clean and still have good and bad days, not many now, but when its a bad day, its a " BAD " day !!!
It often makes me feel like im back at day 7...
Congratulations on your clean time, i'd assume you would feel better before i ever did because i was on Subs.
Hope this helps : )
