I found that when I quit opiates and got headaches, good old fashioned asprin really works. 2 - 3 asprin (or whatever directions on box say) dissolved in water - tastes shocking but really did work for me.
Or OTC ibuprofen or paracetamol (tylenol in the states I think?) can also take the edge off.
Best of luck, I remember getting headaches when I first got opiate free and they really wreck your day.

Mine is like a pressure headache and I have constant ringing in my ears, it is so frustrating. I don't sleep. I think the excedrin helps, I've told myself the 5htp helps, I've heard the cal/mag/zinc helps. I got so many darn vitamins and nutrients around here it's hard to remember what there for. I'm thinking only time will help. And I do believe that taking a fresh new little pill will reset the clock on wd's. I don't want to do this again. You don't either.
Try excedrin - it's one of the stronger OTC pain meds and it helped enormously for my headaches. And the body aches. And I took it in the morning so the caffeine in this med helped to get me going for the day. And I made sure I took it only in the morning so it wouldn't affect my sleep. Might be worth a shot? :) p.s. and i agree with soaddicted, hot baths, and sitting in a dark room also helps alot!
hey there.. i know that headaches can be part of your withdraws, so maybe try taking some ibprofin or tylenol and lay down with a warm cloth over your face, and maybe in a dark room. you can do this and the headaches will subside. take hot baths also they help alot. hang in there..
