Hi Ducky Welcome to post, you have come to a great place to ask questions.
I don't want to sound like a jerk, and yes I guess we all can sometime but,I have 2 things to ask are you or have you been an alcholic, or have these tendences? I'm only asking because if it's social drinking without the God awfull condition that many of us have, then please don't drink. Please if you don't have a problem stay away form one. ( I'm not trying to be mean and sorry if it sounds that way ).
Do you have, or have you ever been to, a Dr about a gastrointesinoal problem that may exist. Only asking because we have had to deal with that wwith my daughter ( it was not pretty ) the throwing up, heart burn, and bleeding of her stomach, and intesinal walls, was actually something that started at birth. She was on tagament and other meds at 1 year old.
It got old trying to give a kid these meds, and when she turned 11 the Dr believe it or not, suggested that we try an herbal approach, This may help, ( please ber with my spelling )
Acidofalis, which is good enzimes that go to your intestanal track and fight the bad ones, which, are the ones that send pains in you stomach and sides, and, Aloe vera gel, the one without any preserveatives ( this is a must ). Preservatives will counter react the acidofalis. Put a small amout in a blender with a touch of cool aid or ice tea for flavor, if needed, and drink. We found that my daughter has not touched meds for 3 years, and has not had any internal bleeding since.
Just things to think about but I would see the Dr. first, just in case it maybe something different
Best wishes for a speedy recovery, from experiance that is very painful problem!

I've been off the hydrocodone for about a week and a half, and am still having diarhea (diarrhea) and occassional sharp, strong stomach pains. Is this normal?
thanks in advance to anyone who has an idea about this..

I just sent a post to Broken that brought back some of the hardest, toughest, feelings, from so deep inside me, and I saw your reply to me, and belive it or not I was sending it to you for some strength last nite untill my computer went down. I also saw you were feeling better so I said I just hold on to this till I saw Brokens message.
You are tougher each day!! We see that. I can't tell you how as a parent we survive no matter how hard things are, and put food on the table, but thats what makes my day. That's were I get my love right now! Oh of course it would be great to get a little every once and a while but, What's more important, someone who's bringing me down OR someone who brings me up!!!! ( even through my shame as an addict).
It all comes around, and around, and around, and this merry-go-round is not good for anyone, so we have to get off and live, join the PTA join cheerleading, join football, join baseball ( your kids ), and remember that there are many single dads at these games to, go fishing again AND STAY AWAY FROM THE BOTTOM FEEDERS AND THE SHARKS.
I'm with you and everyone everyday, STRENGTH to you Kristen, you will!! make !! it!! or we have to come over and tickle torture you, see made you smile.
peace

WW. How did your pain dr. appointment go? Susan
I've had my parents visiting and we took the kiddies to Disney. I survived, took along my pill buddies of course, but my supply is about out! I'm going to be in withdrawals soon, and am not looking forward to it! I've never really done this before, and don't know exactly what to expect other than reading all the horror stories. I have my 1 year old with me at work for one more week before she starts daycare, no boss in the office all week, so i'm going to try to do this while working and watching my 1-year old (i have no choice at this point, i will be OUT).
The thing that will hit me hardest is the lack of motivation, and the feeling like my legs are made of lead. Then there's the nights and trying to sleep (UGH!!!)
My husband is still using somewhat. For his sake, i hope he isn't to the point of withdrawals because his job is very physical.
I will be on the board again this week, so i'll be around to let you all know how i'm progressing, plus be around to catch up on all the posts (there's so much i've missed). I will try to have enough strength left to lend some support too! I feel bad not being around and not being able to keep up with the board. I hope everyone is doing well! I was away from the computer, but you've all been on my mind constantly!
(((HUGS))) and prayers to all of you!!!

We have quite a bit in common, especially the little children voices in the background constantly reminding us that we are mommies!
It took forever to get them to sleep last night, i thought i was going to loose it. Somehow i survived, i always do. It's the big 43-year old child that gives me the most grieve (UGH!)
:( Very very frusterating night!
Call me anytime you need to talk. I'll call you back on the cell if it's past 8:00 p.m. :)
