being grateful

being grateful

Happy New Years!!! I just wanted to say congrads to everyone, and thanks for helping me through this whole thing. This is my new years res. To be grateful, not take others for granted. There are so many people out there with out or that have less than me. No more poor little me.  I have to wonder sometime what the hell kept me for being from being the homeless person, the street walker girl who turns tricks for money, or the girl laying there dead before 30. I guess I got real lucky... I have so much to be proud of. So I am going to be happy for it and enjoy it all!!!

great resolution.  i am grateful more than i have ever been. i go to bed at night now, and am just so thankful to be clean. the guilt is subsiding and i can say i truly like the person i am now. wow. i can't believe i said that, but i hated myself for the past 5 years

I like sleep also, never needed it before. I always liked myself but others did not seem to like me so much while I was using. But I feel better now, I can get up in the morning and not have to wait on the pills to kick in. I can also go places and not have to worry if the cops were going to pull me over and search my car. I do like being clean, now its time for me to learn how to feel and deal with feeling.

Happy New Year to you too!  Yes it is exciting to be clean. I can honestly say I only have bad moments now, unlike the bad days I had obsessing about my medication.  Hurray!!!  I can't believe how big of a monster I thought wd was. We kicked its butt :)

Yesterday a song came on "life in the Fast Lane" and one of my friends said you remember we all said we would play this at your funeral for you, cause nobody ever thought you would live to be 30. I thought to myself, god look what people really thought of me. The fun party girl that want live to be 30.
