Is your wife trying to stop the hydro's? If she doesnt think the hydro is a problem she probably won't like anything else. And does she have a problem? I would have argued that only a strong opiate took care of my (legitimate) pain issues. Havent taken any for several months and only took a minimum amount for awhile before that. Previously I would take 20/30 per day. Not in any more pain now than I was before. Lots of things to try. Applications of alternating heat and cold - chiropractic - lidoderm patches - accupressure - acupuncture - massage - Bowen Technique - exercise - yoga - trigger point and epidural shots - put your computer to work and list her symptoms and pain situation - there are things to do ..........................

I felt the same way when I started. It isn't that it was all that would help, It was the only thing I could take with no side effects and it took off from there. A lot will say Ultram, probably the ones who have had no problems with it, even drs.! BEWARE!!!! They lower the seizure threshhold. If she perhaps is taking something else, something that would also lower this threshhold, plan to stay with her is all I can say. I take Adderall and my dr. thought it best (for him) if I went on Ultram. Can't mix the 2! You know what happens? Seizing at its finest!
