Don't take anything your not sure about I have never heard of Bp meds helping but who knows. Get OtC meds to help with wd's like bendryl, theraflu, aleve etc they really do help. Treat your symptoms of flu and headache with meds designed to help with those. Go to the GNC store and ask what they have to relax you there are natural things that really do work.
guy:
THANKS! No I won't use it! No way!- just wanted to know why and you explained it perfectly!
Clonidine is the only BP med that works for withdrawals. It has a different method of action than other BP meds that allows it to alleviate withdrawal symptoms. BP meds work in many different way...from water pills that relax your veins, to Beta Blockers that do the same in a different way. Clonidine just has a unique method of action that works to help withdrawal symptoms...no other BP med does this. So, that being said...I want to point out that using another person's meds is classic addictive behavior and must be avoided. It's extremely dangerous with any med..especially BP meds. You do not want to monkey around with your blood pressure. Also, buying any medication online is a crap shoot in many cases. Be very careful.
I don't know why the clonidine is the preferred blood pressure med. but I have had two docs tell me this. My pharmacy actually had to order the stuff for me as it is not used all that much.
It helped me. I always had low blood pressure until the rapid detox and that seemed to take care of low blood pressure. It seemed to take the edge off and my heart was racing and it stopped that.
I wouldn't start on any med like that without a doctor and for the life of me I cannot remember why the clonidine is the blood pressure med to use. ( My brain is still not working well.)
You do need to monitor you blood pressure if you are taking it.
Talk with your doc.
Yeah I have always wondered that myself but I have never heard of anyone saying any BP meds other then that work and I would be afriad to try others not having any clue what they might do .I never could use clonidine my BP was to low to start I did not want to start passing out
Yeah- just was wondering why it's always clonodin they speak of when there's a million other blood pressure meds.
But thanks.
This is a question you need to ask your doctor there are not any of us that are doctors nor do we know your medical history .Most doctors are pretty understanding and as long as it would not hurt your health in he probably would give you clonidine .
