caffeine withdrawl?

Hello, I"ve been taking hydroxycut to help me get back in shape. I've been taking it every day for about 2 months. Now that i've lost most of the weight I wanted to stop taking it.  So today is the 3 day i haven't taken it and my head has been POUNDING for the 3 days i haven't had it.  Is that part of withdrawl...it's not awful but it's not fun....How long will this last?  I'm not having any other pain or discomfort except for the headache....is this normal? how long does it last? any advice will be greatly appreciated.

k...well i took an ibprofen...don't have any excedrin.  it hasn't helped at all but oh well.  i think i'll try drinking a little bit of coffee tomorrow morn and a little less each day.  thanks for your advice...and your right, its not horrible...but definately uncomfortable......it's definately no where near withdrawl pain scale however...thank goodness!

OK this is my next goal off caffien.  I have horrible blinding headaches when I try, I will taper off it but NOT right now just getting clean off meds.  I also want to stop smoking.  I hate to smell smoke but I smoke anyway.  I want OFF the nicotine.  I think I will do that before the caffiene but will do it with my angels by me Ooo  I know I am an addict to all of this

I took it a few years ago and had the same thing. It lasted about 3 or 4 days if I remember right. I just had a tinge of a headache. It wasn't horrible, just uncomfortable.

Try excedrin because it has a little caffiene in it as well as tylenol or Ib profin-I forget which...but it will help with that kind of headache I do believe.

For caffine going CT will cause a major headache for several days.  Just drink a little of a caffinated beverage and your head ache will go away. Drink less and less for a few days and you will be fine.

Darn, the strict diet and exercise part gets me everytime. By the way, caffeine withdrawl does come with major headaches. I gave up a 5 can a day diet coke habit and had headaches for about 4 days.

lol..i lost 15lbs. I had just had a baby and needed an extra boost.  The hydroxycut was combined with strict 'diet' and excersise.....otherwise i hear it does not work...i don't think it was that expensive actually...., i can't remember how much i paid but i'm sure if you look on ebay or something you can get it cheap...that's where i got it the first month and than i went to GMC only becuase i was too inpatient to wait and go through the shipping etc etc.

I don't know about the headaches but I would love to know if the hydoxycut worked? It's pretty expensive isn't it? But if it workes I'll give it a try. How much weight did you lose?
