can anyone relate?

I started taking vic's and perc's last year after having three surgeries, when it was time to come off, they did not tell me about anything called withdrawals?? A year and a half later, I am still going thru them. Right now I am taking Ultram. They did not warn me about that one either. Somedays I take 8, somedays I get pissed off and take 20. I am trying really hard to get it down to 8 and then to 6 so I can start tapering and try the amino thing if I can ever get it figured out. I feel that the only reason why I am still taking the pills is because of the ****** up w/d's. I wish there was a magic "pill" to just make it go away. What the hell are we supposed to do?

There is a magic pill but it is for more severe withdraw like herion and methadone it it called suboxone

suboxone is not a magic pill, i switched from methadone to suboxone 9 weeks ago and still feel like ****...but it DOES work better for someone switching from a short acting opiod like percs or vike or even heroin than if they switch from a long acting one like methadone and that is a fact, and even then its not magic, it takes alot of time, commitment to deal with the dysphoria long term.. counseling and a ton of money if you dont have insurance...do ALOT of research on suboxone if you decide to go that way...best of luck to you all

I have a lot of trouble with the dysphoria.  that is the worst for me, i feel like i am dying mentally, i have never ever felt worse.  it sux!  And mine lasts anytime i try to cut back or slow down.  There are "positive effects" of oxys.  That is why i take it.  I suffer from severe depression, anytime i am not loaded with oxy i "hurt" mentally, really hurt.  Everything is black and nothing is good.  How did you get off of the oxy without going insane? i have tried the methadone but never the suboxone, which one works better and is longer lasting?

there is NO magic pill...you need to have some self control and wean off the tramdol...you are going to have sever withdrawals. Is there anyone that you trust that you can hand the pills too? Please...you will do yourself a favor...
