can i redouse my self

I'v been taking 24mg of hydromorph contin for about 6 month now. I started out with a small amount about 2 years ago. And now i'm doing to much and not getting anything out of it,all i am doing is not being sick. Now i want to be off them so i can live a normal life. I been off them for 2 days before and started to get very sick. this will be my first day to detox myself at home. What i want to know can i some how redouse myself to the point that i wont get so sick??????? If so please tell me

Were you prescribed the medication or did you buy it black market? There's a big difference. If you were prescribed it, talk to your doctor and they can taper your dose over time gradually for you. If you were taking it black market you have a few options. A) Cold turkey (all at once, which I've personally found very painful and I am useless for a week or so), B) Taper down, or C) Find a detox clinic. If you taper down, many physicians say to reduce your dose by 2mg or so a week until you are completely off. In your case that would be about 12 weeks or less and generally pretty painless. You can go down as much and as quickly as you can take. The quicker, the more crappy you are going to feel but the quicker you are going to get off of it and get feeling better. Opiate addiction is horrible. The best advice other than tapering down slowly that I can give you is to find an NA group and go to it. You might not think you need the help or that they can help you, but you'd be suprised at how much help you might find just listening to other people's stories and how they did it and what they went through. i got them on the black market. but here on monday i'm going to see my doctor to see if he can help me. when i started to get these from my good friend. i did hurt my back. that was about 2 years ago. and i found nothing else would kill the pain but these. after a wile he stoped giving them to me. i started out with the 3s. but now im up to a 24 to help kill the pain. and plus i have to buy them. i dont want to tell my doctor the truth but i ll have to see if he can help me. i v been to detox and check out a day later cause i felt like i was in jail. SORRY IF THIS IS HARD TO MAKE OUT I STILL HAVE NOT HAD ANY. AND I FEEL LIKE POOO

If you want to get clean i highly suggest you come clean with your doctor .Let him help you get off the meds you can do this we will be her for support .
