cannabis and the heart

Sir,
I have smoked marijuana for several years now,Im 50 years old,Recently a had a heart attack and as a result have given up smoking ,i never really smoked cigarettes,I now use it in baking biscuits,Is the ingestion of cannabis dangerous in my condition.?
