I am at my moms house for her birthday and she let me read the forum to see what I thought.  She is going thru a very bad time right now and I appreciate all of you being there for her.  I also want to say thank you for all of the prayers you have said for me.

My mother says you are so funny and that you make her laugh alot.  Thank you. Getting HIV has made me really think abuot my life and face my addiction.  I am done.  No more.  I want to live and my life is worth more than geeking on meth. It takes quite a person to go through and conquer what you already have.  I think you are amazing - you must be ....your mom is great and the apple doesn't fall far....  I wish you all the best and you will be in my prayers continuously.  Take care of yourself and continue to stand up to your addiction.  You will inspire many people!!

I am thankful to have your mom here to hear her take on things.  She has a unique point of view (and one I usually agree with - I know she must be relieved..lol).  Anyway, I appreciate having her here.  It is so strange how life leads us down so many roads and you look back and figure out why/finally.  I do believe because of what you and your bro have been through, your mom will touch the lives of many people and more than likely save a few here.  It's all for some reason - though most are harder to figure out.

I am so full from cake and ice cream that I've got to go home and sleep.  I have been clean for just 6 weeks now but this is the first time I have ever wanted to stay clean.  I am going to make it this time.  It is what I want to do for myself and for my mom.  She deserves it>  I didn't know there was a place like this where I could talk to other addicts and I have enjoyed reading and talking to you.  I will come back when I can.  Tell my mom to buy me a computer.  Just kidding.  I started back to work today and I am feeling great.  Hope to talk to you again.

Christian, you are such an inspiration to us all.  I didn't know if I should bring up HIV before when I posted up there but I want you to know that I am so proud of you for quitting the pills in the middle of everything that you are going through.   You are such a strong person and I'm so proud of you.  Everything will be ok in the end.  You are doing awesome!!!  As far as me being funny and making your mom laugh, she makes me laugh even harder I can assure you, lol.  She's such a funny and amazing woman, as I'm sure you well know lol.

Lizzy, you have such a delightful and very respectful son.  I can tell he is alot like my son and really cares about your and everyone around him's feelings.  A very sensitive person.  My son cares alot about people in general.  It's so nice to have a son come up to you and say "are u ok?" or "you need me for anything?"  My son is very concerned about other people's wellbeing.  I hope you both have a wonderful nite, take care and godbless, luvs ya'll, Lil.  :)

yes indeed, i got my wish...all my boys with me on my birthday...and all clean too (hehe)...we so enjoyed the time together and christian was very impressed with the forum...well most of it...the concept anyway.  guess he'll be buying himself a computer now.  he has been fighting addiction for many many years now and he could really have some imput and get support at the same time...someone in my house needs to be here, since i don't have any idea what i am talking about.

Perhaps you could consider getting Christian his own username?  It would make things less confusing in the long run.  It is not difficult to set up an email account and get him his own username, so he doesn't have to post under yours.  It's hard to tell him from you, writing styles being similar and posting under the same name and all.

I feel like I know you and you are such a good guy, you just got our disease.  You do have a wonderful mom, she went through hell and back with all this.  What I wanted to tell you, is that the best way to make her life at ease is if you would stop using and stay on the meds they give you.  If you do anything crazy and start using again I think your poor mom will not be with you till the end if you know what I mean.  Your going to cause her to have a heartattack, lol.  Just take care of your mommy right now, she needs you so much.  And she has told us some incredible stories about you growing up.  You remind me so much of my 6 year old in the young stories she told about you,,, Christian, your mother is awesome and she loves you so much..
