has anybody ordered clonodine online,and is it safe to give these pharmicies your credit card number,canada included. i'm trying to taper and not doing so well.my heart feels like it's going through my chest.any advice would be helpful.

Let me start by saying I have not read all of the above responses to ur post altho it caught my eye yesterday.
I kinda got a feel for your history, I think. I agree w/the guy who said you've gotta really want it. When I saw a suboxone MD he gave me clonidine I was to l to take 1 0.1mg pill 2-3 x's day? I have seen other literature saying to take 0.1-0.2mg 2-3 x's a day. It not a good drug if u have high or low b/p to begin w/ and must be weaned down or it could cause a spike in b/p ad be fatal... That said I don't think it's gonna make or break your effort.Be nice to have to try...but I doubt the MD is trying to be a pric* in not RXing it. It's not controlled or addictive which makes me think he may have a reason why it may not b right 4 u? Who knows ask again- call Monday...I have taken 0.2mg and @ 105# it didn't really do much. Ask again inquire about the patch....Good Luck!

word of advise do a search on complaints for what ever sight your gonna use, go to complaints.com a great web site people post about sites that ripped them off. my dad got toke for 1grand from a company on the east coast, when i found out i did some research at that site and found 3 pages of complaints on that company. i wish i lived out there so i could pay him a visit but i live on the west coast. do research,research, research. good luck brother.

the mental addiction post rehab i'm learning is more important than getting off your DOC.i'm 47 and just learning that.it's not addressed enough in rehab depending on where you go.yes i live in buffalo ny and can certainly use all the help i can get.i feel helpless at times and it's not fun feeling like that. my heart gives me pain now and my stomach,it's scary at times.i feel like i'm slowly killing myself.this is by far the hardeast thing i am going throughEVER.

AAHHH Steve,  a thank you wasn't necessary.........  you are spending a lot of monies on different meds,   and there just be some other options available to you that will work better for you, than the last rehab you were in and truly be really of no additional cost...perhaps IOPT?......  please know I will not  nor would I  judge your decisions (okay I may jump in there when I think you have too many meds going on all at one time :) ),  I am helping my 21 yr old addict thru the horror of drug addiction, to oxy......there are so many detox and sober living plans.  She went thru rehab twice,  didn't work,  for her it simply didnt address the mental addiction post rehab,  it just did not work,  she has had a lot of options,  yet it appears this last treament (outpatient) may be the right fit.........and most importantly I pray to God she is truly ready,  cuz I am losing her and its killing me.   I thought you were in Canada???    Let me know if you are in the states Steve and I will try to help  you get to some agencies that can help you in your struggle to beat addiction.  Yes I agree, it is easier for my girl, cuz she has her mama.........had to drop her from my insurance a few yrs ago  and she is now vying with the stock market for me to loss my uh-huh even faster!   I applaud so many of you that can do this on your own,  and I am so very grateful that I still have my baby to help.........a few months ago I wasn't sure that would be an option.     THis truly is life and death,  and Steve   I know you want to do it on your own,  but you need professional help and emotional support........   we all do.  Can I help you get to that point perhaps?

Steve i'm not goin to sugarcoat this! I've been to & jail & prison, I've seen ppls come into county jail (in different states, done time in alot of places) and have to detox CToff everything including benzo's, watched one dude die of a siezure, they didn't care and wern't responsible as he told them he wasn't detoxin off nuthin cuz he didnt want to be held in isolation cell, and wanted to get into population right away, my point is i seen a hundred to that one  not die and have no choice but to live above ground everyday they could until they wern't sick, and they made it, they HAD TOO! i was one of them.

what u got to do is stop in order
1.drinkin   (it w/xanax makes the decision to use too easy)
2.stop taking opiates (be dopesick till ur not)
3. taper xanax 2.5 3 days then 2.0 3 days , then 1.5 three days, then 1.0 ,,etc,,)
u lucky man to be able to have xanax while dopesick! u can sleep through alot of it ,and really it is alot of mind over matter , to a point.
your lucky you didn't pick up a felony in silver bow county MT. AND BE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY CUZ THEY WOULD TELL YA TOO BAD YOU NOT GETTIN NUTHIN! (sorry bout caps). nand if u couldn't bond out you would detox w/nuthin, i seen it before, and knoew it can be done.
I have been where u are ,,lost it and back again a few times, I know it *****!!!I been readin ur posts and know u want in a different place in your life!
u not as unique as u think ,it is more common than u realize accept alot on here never had it hard like street life & convicts,,don get me wrong I have respect for evrery addict & their story  , but believe me it can get worse!!!
until u DESIRE to change your lifestyle more than u DESIRE to use it will not happen.......

1 year ago i left rehab after 5 days so i'm not allowed back there.other places want to much money and right now i dont have insurance.i spend about 12 hundred dollars a month on this **** lortab,xanax,beer and weed.if 1 of these rehabs would work out a payment plan with me i just might go but i really want to do this on my own this time.i already have the tools i just need to apply them.when i left rehab last time i was in for methadone also and i stayed straight for 3 months after i left but i secluded my self,got no exercise didn't go to meetings,hardly answered the phone and now i'm back where i started except the methadone part and i almost screwed that up.what can i say it's not easy

Whether Clonidine is or is not a controlled "substance"    is not the main issue......... my major concern is you and your health  .........  I am most worried with self medicating yourself thru w/d and how those  different meds interact with one another and in what dosage they are taken.    Escpecially with opiate addiction,  and its impact on your lungs  and respitory.....and then with the other meds...  honey, my concern is for you not to do anything unintenually that will hurt you.  Please give your doctor one more try.....   I wish you could get into a medically supervised detox  and rehab......is that not an option at all?   I have been reading your posts for some time  and I know you want to quit......but we all need help at some point in our lives,  and this may be your time.  Please know my best thoughts are with you.

I AGREE WITH WORRIED , YOU NEED TO BE WATCHED WHILE TAKING CLONIDINE, IT WAS PRESCRIBED TO ME FOR W/DS AND IT HELPED, BUT ABOUT THE 5TH DAY INTO IT IT DROPPED MY BP TO LOW,  BUT I WAS ALREADY ON HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE MEDS, SO THAT MAY OF CAUSED IT ANYWAY IF U GET THIS PRESCRIBED TO U BE VERY CAREFUL.  JENNIFER.....  :)  .....

I am not sure how much Xanax you are taking,  but both meds, in addition to your BP, have a huge impact on your respitory system, and needs to be monitored by a doc.  If your doc is prescribing your Xanax (your post sounded as if you were on a large dose) this may be why he is reluctant to also prescribe Clonodine.   Please listen to your physicain and not put your life in harm's physically and legally with online meds.

My understanding is that it is illegal to buy controlled substances online. There is a federal law or something where a DR has to see thier patient so many times a year and if you are getting it online you aren't seeing a DR. There are some online pharmacies that require a script but there are some that don't...either way, it is not okay to buy narcotics online. Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but you can even google the topic and see. Hope that helps...

ok,i dont have a script,my primary wont give me one,i think he wants me in rehab.i've only seen him once so we dont have that bond that i'm desperately looking for,i do see him next week but i cant wait that long,so i'm taking more xanax to help the heart pounding.i bought a blood pressure machine so that if i get the clonodine i will check, be able to find out my b/p.i do know that you shouldn't take clonodine if your blood pressure is low as i have been through this before.i was wondering about getting it on line because i've heard you can even get hydros.i went on line and sure enough there are companys that sell this stuff,just wondering if it's reputable or not.at this point i would do almost anything to get something for this,and it's only going to get worse

clonidine is a prescription drug..altho i do think there are pharmacies in canada/overseas where u can get it without one as it is not a controlled substance,,,clonidine is a touchy drug and i think u need to be monitored while on it due to blood pressure and stuff...hypotension/a drop in blood pressure can be fatal...be safe

I wouldnt order anything online, you don't know what you are getting, and you might get ripped off...my son ordered the soma's online that he is addicted to, not sure if he still does...I would call my doctor...I wouldnt take the chance...take care and be strong

My Dr. gave me this for my withdrawl as well as some good sleeping pills (non addictive and non narcotic) and I am now at day 4....I was still a bit achy and tired but in general it has been OK...not great but OK....I would suggest meeting with an addiction specialist (that is what I did) but along with those steps I also have to go onto Naltraxone...a blocking agent she said will make it impossible to feel effects from opiods as well as take away cravings....part of me says I am done and thats that...I don't want to be on anything...but I will give it a shot in the begining.

Also the amount of Clonidine they give for wd varies.. It may seem like a harmless drug but it is not.. You really should be careful with prescription drugs.. I had found Valerian Root helped with the anxiety... I do know I can not just stop the clonidine as it causes a spike in bp it should be supervised.. I know how hard you have been trying steve..walking also helped me with the anxiety.. Glad to see your post... I was wondering where you were yesterday... lesa

Do you have a prescription for it? I think it should be ok as long as you have a script for it. If you don't, I am pretty sure its illegal..clonodine requires a script.
