If the septum still has integrity your GP was probably right that there isnt a lot that he can do for you.  You have the done the largest part by quiting and staying away from the powder. It is really hard on the body.......as far as it getting worse - if you have withdrawn the offending agents it should be healing....unless you do have an infection and require antibiotics - - -  most recommend a saline rinse that you may obtain at any drugstore - - - and give it time before surgery ........

Your going to want to look for a ENT or Otolaryngologists. ENT is a ear, nose and throat specialist. A otolaryngologists is a specialist within that field. I belive more of a skull and neck specialist, but of course, your sinuses are in your skull.
Not to discount your concerns, but I did way too much crystal meth in the late 1980's and my sinuses survived ok.  And that stuff is nasty, nasty! You hear stories of meth containing **** like battery acid (like I said, only stories) and other nasty cut.
Heres a website with photos of sinus problems. Scroll down about half way down the page to see a sinus damaged by cocain and drug use.

well i've noticed it 4 a long while and can feel it getting worse, damage wise the only way i can explain is to say the septum getting thinner if that makes sense when i flash a torch up my nostrils (yes thats the only way i can see ANYTHING up there) i can see what looks like a white sort of scabby layer over the pinky part of the septum i,ve come to the conclusion that the scabby part is dried up mambrane or cartilidge or....something plus nearly everytime i breath out my nose (which has become very loud and annoying) it feels like pulling part of cartilidge down my throat, and the skin above my top lip feels really soft, weak like the fillings gone. by the way i see alot of people saying they got batterd noses, but has any1 actually had a op and how much did it cost.cheers

I would look for a plastic surgeon. How much damage are we actually talking about here?    cause I used to do tones of coke and my nose has never quite been the same.
