thinking about suiside,i asked my doctor who was suppling me with 240 tablets of lortab 7.5/500 to help me stop this drug several times and he keep sayint not to worry,we get rid of the pain,then i will help u stop. well he helped alright,he cut me off,and i am in incredible pain after 8 days without,i have this severe pain in my spine from my head to buttocks,after i thought i should been through the worst of the withdrawls,called him doday and he said not to worry,call if gets worse,ha ha ha,worse i say,wtf????!!!!!thank you and may the lord be with you.

Sounds like a real mess! You could benefit from a comprehensive evaluation which addresses the issues of pain management, narcotic dependence, suicidality and your relationship to the physician who has been treating you. If your doctor cannot recommend a good facility, you might try contacting the local medical society, your insurance company, or the American Society of Addiction Medicine (http://www.asam.org) to locate Addiction Medicine programs or specialists in your area.
Get good help as soon as possible, and hang in there, you can get through this.
