30mg of Methadone is comparable to how many mg's of Suboxone?
I've been on 50mgs of Methadone for over 5 years,& will reduce to 30mgs to switch over to Suboxone. How long will I need to be stabilised on the 30mg's,& approximately what dose of Suboxone would I expect to start with?
I will be on long term Maintenance
This discussion is related to Methadone to Suboxone, what dosage?.
HI welcome to the forum.....each sub doctor is different there is no one size fits all they usually indues with 8mg and see how you feel if in an hr or so if your still sick..(You need to be in major withdrawals to do the switch)they will give you 8 more up to 24mg in one day it would be better if you went down to 20 in the PDR thats the dose they recamend for doing the switch you will have less problems at 20 ....30 is doable but there is often compilations good luck with your switch.......Gnarly
