daily cocaine use for 3 years...

so... i have been a chronic daily cocaine user for the past 3 years.  i don't binge with my usage - i simply treat the coke like a shot of espresso during the day.  i don't party with the drug; although i honestly love the high!  my concerns are about the long term health ramifications.  i take a few 'bumps' or 'lines' through out a normal day and stop before i get home.  i'll have a normal cup of coffee in the morning and start the cocaine use after lunch.  i've never experienced any side affects - but ultimately i'm concerned to know what this is doing to my heart.  

any thoughts?  thanks!

Hi,

It is an illegal and dangerous drug so I think you already know the answer. The "I only do it..." and the "I don't do it..." is denial. Again, you are using a dangerous drug and YES, it could kill you. It sure as heck isn't going to make you healthy in the long run, right?

My concern for you is your obvious drug use but it is also that you think you need something to get you wherever it is you want to go and you are risking your health to get it. It is your behavior and your thought process that I am worried about for you.

Are you at the point where you want to stop?

i agree.  i don't have a problem stopping - i have stopped for months at a time in the past.  i simply enjoy the product.  i can replace the high or rush w other legal substances.  even if and when i stop - the health question still remains.  what has this done to my heart?
