My husband and I actually got the swine flu 10 days after i quit. I thought I was still going through withdrawal until my husband got it. It actually kept my mind off WD. I think iy was a blessing in disguise.

hey thanks a lot.  congrats on day 5 your through the worst part of the wds.  that creepy crawly feeling is the worst.  and it alwasy stays around the longest for me.  i hate it so much.  the mental part i think is what makes us stress and makes the wds increase for us.  its hard to beat tho.  this site was great.  comming on here and just talkign to people and knowing im not alone.  im not the only person going thru wd.  i just kept telling myself its really not that bad.  it could be so much worse.  think right now what your feeling.  it could be so much worse couldnt it?  its really not that bad.  but honestly i cant stress it enough the best thing is getting out and doing things.  getting exersise is the best.  i do construction work.  tough labour.  now i could of just sat at home dying and wding like crazy.  day 1 i sat at home and felt like death and just paced around.  but after that every single day i went to work.  and at work i felt great.  didnt think about my wds didnt think about pills didnt think aobut it you know.  and at the same time i was getting the exersise i needed.  i also hit the gym a lot.  exersise is just amazing for you when your going through this.  im a personal trainer also and damn i just cant stress enough how much exersise is good for you.  mentaly knowing you can go do exersise with out taking pills.  knowing you can go to work or do whatever you want to do with out htem  you can do it.  well congrats on day 5 keep it up.  keep in touch im only 5 days ahead of you.

I'm on day 6, almost day 7 and same thing.  I'm sure it's swine flu.  fever, cough, shortness of breath.  I found an inhaler around the house and it helped me breath better, though I never had asthma.  I have a feeling I would be feeling close to quite good if it were not for this virus, which makes the whole thing that much longer.

I took a week off.  I'm about to call tomorrow and say, "you don't want me back with swine flu do you?"

Interesting.  I'm hardly ever sick.  I saw my hairdresser day 4 of withdrawal and she appeared to have the flu and I told her she would be ok, and then 2 days later, I've got it.  Shows the impact of WD on the immune system.  I had my basic flu shot, just not the swine flu vaccine yet.  It doesn't feel the same as Wd, but it still *****.
