day 19 after 11 year addiction to Ultram

Good morning everyone. I see so many new names here, so hello to you all. I am feeling pretty good lately. I don't take anything for sleep and I get about 7 hours a night so that is going very well. My energy is just ok though still. I think that maybe it just seems like I have no energy but in all actuality this is normal and before on pills I was SUPERMOM. I forget how it feels to be clean though because like I said it has been 11 years on this stuff and I've only quit for pregnancies which I felt crappy through all of those so it is hard to tell what normal is anymore. Well I hope all of you are doing well....and if not well at least better. Minnie, I love ya girl...keep on trucking.

You are amazing, I am so happy for you - this is definetely just your time - 19 days!!! Knowing how hard it is with Ultram, I am amazed that you can manage so well already and that you don't have to take anything for sleep, that is so great, you are almost there. Do you take something like strong vitamins and supplements for energy (not that it did me much good)? - but we are all different, I remember Marcie saying that she had great help from Emergen-C, I believe it was.
You just made my day (I am definetely in control, but still in a lot of pain) and you are an inspiration ;-)

Have a great day and take care

You are doing wonderfully, keep up the good work!  I know how hard it is...not with ultram, but I hear that is definitely one of the hardest drugs to withdraw from.  I don't know what you are doing for energy, but I started taking Once A Day All Day Energy vitamins, and I really seemed to have noticed a difference.  Also, about a month ago, my doctor put me on Wellbutrin, because I had absolutely no motivation, but I've noticed a slight increase in energy as well.

I hope you keep winning your battle.

good for you singha!  I know what you mean about the supermom and feeling like ****.  If they would just make something so we didn't feel this way I don't think we would relapse.  I've heard suboxone is great for this but they make you jump through hoops for it.  The last thing we want to do is go to ANOTHER doc and explain our problem.
