day 2 omg this sucks.....help

everyone helped so much yesterday.  took 3 klonopin last night my legs seem to have a mind of thier own.  trying toms recipe, really need some sleep.  Does anyone think taking som phennegran is stepping backward?

Ugh...hit wrong key... if it's an opiate based drug, you did set the clock back. But don't lose heart, it may not be that bad. If you can get through the next two days, you'll wake up felling like hell, but much better than the past few days.

It should be okay. Just don't over do it. It could go either way. My wife says she did a cold turkey using a little codiene, but it depends on what you've been taking and how much of it, and how long you've been an addict.

Yes day 2 does suck, not to discourage you, but day 3 and 4 will be better, but they will suck too.  Is the phennergan for nausea?  I don't think it would be a step backwards if you took some.  Hang in there and ask questions or just vent if you need to.  That is what this place is all about.

How lond does it take for the withdrawls to end???

Mornin sweetie,  Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well, I know that day 2 was when the withdrawals really kicked in for me too.    You have already got great advice about the baths and bananas with the muscle rub stuff.    Im sorry but I don't recognize the drug you mentioned.   Is it an opiate?   I would google it and find out.   If it is for sleeping it sounds like it may be a benzo.  

When I was withdrawing I used ultram and a tiny bit of xanax to sleep.  Some prefer cold turkey.  Both are good as long as we end up drug free.

take the phenergan it will help you rest.  it is an antihistamine and anti-emetic (helps with nausea), also it will make you sleepy.  they add it to lots of codeine cough syrups to help people rest and releive runny nose etc.  it is not a narcotic shouldn't need to take more than 1-3 of them to knock you out.

I broke down and took 1 ms contin for the pain in my legs i immediately started crying.  does this mean i start from scratch all over again.  even though that wasn't my addiction?

Day 2 sucked for me too, I am now on day 4 and the legs are much better. My legs were in pain and jumpy also. You have to take the hot baths. Try the Epson Salt. I ate like 10 bannanas and rubbed heat rub on the back of my legs. By the end of all of this the pain in the legs subsided. You can do it!!!

Hello there Chrissy. I wsh I could help you but I don;t know that that is. someone withh come on and know that that is. have patients.. ok.. I am an opiate addict and  I am on saboxone for right noe. I am going to taper off of that to. but it beats being on dope.. I wish you luck.. just hang in there and someone will be around soon to help you.
