day 25 c/t...will take a pill....need help!!!!

O.K., I'm day 25 c/t from hydro and I am going crazy wanting to take a pill.  I found some more in my closet and I actually put one in my mouth but didn't swallow and then just spit it out.  But, I want that pill soooo bad.  I've been trying to distract myself for the past 5 hours but I can't stop thinking about it.  I keep telling myself...what will one pill hurt anything!  Please if there is anybody that can say something to me to stop me from doing this please say it.  I just know before the night ends I am going to take that pill.  I know I know just flush them away...help!!!

I strongly believe that, though you probably wouldn't have any intense symptoms, the lingering systems will perrsist longer than they would have, possibly days longer. Try to imagine why you would want to throw away everything you've accomplished over the last 3.5 weeks by possibly jumping off the edge of that cliff.

OMG!!  I can't flush them...I would but I just can't right now.  I cannot believe how my I want one now after 25 days!  It has comsumed my whole day...it is all I think about.  My husband took my kids to a movie so I 'm here alone in the house and NOBDODY would know.  I'm just driving myself crazy about this!!

We're all here for you, if you have to keep typin til hubby gets back do it!!  When he gets back tell him to hide them if you can't flush them k?  I know how hard it is.  You can do this, you had it in your mouth and didn't swallow.  WOW, you are my new inspiration girlie!!  You are doin' awesome.  Don't ruin 25 days, for just that!!  We're all here for you, so type away.  Keep away from it or do whatever you need to do.  Get the hell outta the house if you have to... Thanks for all your thoughts and help....I'm going to go for a walk and see if I can increase my natural endorphins....I honestly don't know why it is so overwhelming for me today....I just want energy.  You guys are super great when you get in a pinch.  I'm leaving now but I'll check in when I get back.  THanks again!!!!!

You go for that walk!!  You'll feel at least a little if not alot better when you get back.  Just think when you get back "wow, I did it, I went all that time without a pill and spit that one out".  You are doin' great sweetie!!!  I'm soooo proud of you!!!! Luvs, Lil.

If you cannot bring yourself around to flushing them...here is what I did:

1.  Set a firm date for flushing them.

2.  When the craving got intense, I would only lick the pill, once, and then not touch them for 4 hours.

I offer this as a poor substitute for getting rid of the pills...but, better that you only lick them, than take one.

I hope your doing well...What a mind flip those little devils will do to us eh? Yea, Im Canadian...lol...Anyways, I wanted to just say what ever one else said, however I will not repeat...only say Ditto...

Your doing so well....Try changing your thought pattern if you can.....Trying saying to yourself, its so much more worth it to look around and say hey, I am HERE....Not having to NEED to be elsewhere. A walk is a excellent thing to try to do, don't wear yourself out...So you really think you physically NEED the pill...

If you cant flush them, yes....Set a date.......ITs a wonderful idea....if you cant....flush only a few of them...and say goodbye to them....You are greiving a lost friend, one you at one time trusted and had faith in to get you thru your day, tell them, that you don't need them anymore and that you can do this on your own now..and its time to say goodbye...

I know, Im pretty messed up with the way I think, but I truely believe its a process.......and it takes time...and it hurts and its totally scary..however, its possible!! Anything is when we put our minds to it...

You are in my thoughts and prayers....YOu are truely lucky to have support...I was emensly overwhelmed with the responses.....You guys are all so great...You really truely are...and thru all of the process....you can all find peace...and be who you truely are..

I know, Im corny, I write lol...alot....I hope you understand it all...sometimes I dont lol...but I would be more than happy to explain if I sound too stoned or something lol I did just puff so...lol
